Happy Fall

I think Fall is here, but it does not feel like that yet, but still seeing Fall Decorations, and pumpkins, puts me in a mood for sweaters, scarves, boots, gingerbread and pumpkin lattes and YES!!! Plein Aire Painting and sketching.

I am looking forward to taking my paints out. Last time I tried to do this in Fairhope , Alabama, was truly misery between the mosquitoes and the humidity .... it is very hard to feel inspired like that. One thing I am learning is that you can not push inspiration, and you can not feel joy unless you are painting something that inspires you. So even though New Orleans architecture still inspires me,  I am listening to my call to paint more landscapes, flowers and even still life.  I hope you enjoy a little change in my art.

I will be participating in the Art Market at the end of October at Palmer Park.  Hopefully it would be nice weather by then. I am also doing a show for the  Westbank Christian Women Connection at their Vendor Luncheon on Oct. 10th; and a Christmas Art Market at the Stonebridge Country Club on Thursday Dec. 6th.

One of my favorites is Ringing in the Arts in Gretna on Dec. 7th from 5 to 9 p.m.and this will be my 3rd year participating in this fun event. Only original art, music, food, and a Holiday atmosphere.

So as you can see I will be staying pretty busy. I still have not designed my Christmas card for 2019, but I am working on it will send you another email when done.

Check out my website for my newest paintings and products and tell your friends.  I have been doing a lot of commissions  for House Portraits, and watercolors of Churches on wedding invitations which make a fantastic gift for newlyweds.

I continue to have pillows , mugs and coasters, hats, and bags with prints of my watercolors. I have a great marketing consultant who is very creative too - my son Ben.

Well , thanks for your support. Hope to see you at some of the events I will be participating in.
