Hi all ! We are still surviving Covid and have escaped 3 storms this season ! It has been quite a year.
As you may know most of my art was New Orleans related, and it sold in many stores of New Orleans . Because of Covid and lack of tourists , I decided during this pandemic time ,to paint more of what inspires me and less of what tourists want . I am excited about this coming art show to share with you my new paintings .
It has been so hot!!! hard to go out to paint, and I have staying in my studio learning from Virtual classes .
I have done a lot of painting during this quarantine and I will have an exhibition of all the quarantine paintings at the end of October - Probably Oct. 24th. will firm up that date later. I will have mainly originals and some prints and cards. Put the date on your calendar and save the date.
We are at the half year mark and still dealing with the Pandemic.
Is sad to have seen so many events cancelled. There was an Art Market in Covington last weekend, and even though it was very hot, I went and with only about 12 vendors, I spent some money.... I love art markets and I love supporting artists. I know how wonderful it feels to have someone want your work.
Unfortunately, we are all going thru a bad time in our lives. I pray that you are safe and making these time count.
Our lives routines have completely changed and we need to adapt. In order for us to adapt we need to keep a positive attitude – which can be hard- and we need to stay busy. Staying busy will benefit our mental, emotional and physical
It has been too hot to go out and paint, but I have been busy with several projects, one of them organizing my art studio.
Summer is usually a good time to also build an inventory of prints and cards, but I keep getting orders from my clients. Even though it has been so hot in New Orleans, the quarter has been extremely busy.
